Welcome to the Athlete Agent Online Registration System

This system is administered by the Public Protection Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice pursuant to La. R.S. 4:420–434.

Registration deadline. Athlete agents already operating in Louisiana must complete registration by August 1, 2026 to continue representing athletes. Operating without an active registration after that date is prohibited.

Providing false or misleading information on this application is a violation of La. R.S. 4:426 and may result in denial, suspension, or revocation of registration, civil penalties up to $100,000, and criminal prosecution.

Registration Fee

The registration fee is $1,000, payable when you submit your application. If you hold a valid registration from a reciprocal state as determined by the Division, your fee will be reduced to $500.
