This system is administered by the Public Protection Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice pursuant to La. R.S. 4:420–434.

Registration deadline. Athlete agents already operating in Louisiana must complete registration by August 1, 2026 to continue representing athletes. Operating without an active registration after that date is prohibited.

Providing false or misleading information on this application is a violation of La. R.S. 4:426 and may result in denial, suspension, or revocation of registration, civil penalties up to $100,000, and criminal prosecution.

Reciprocal eligibility is confirmed by the Division using your answers and Louisiana's approved-state list; borderline cases go to staff review before any fee is charged. You cannot self-classify as reciprocal — the Division verifies it. TBD: derived-routing engine (see Regulatory History)
